Dear Katie,
First of all, thank you so much for your gracious hospitality and a wonderful stay at Rostherne House and Rural Retreat. It was the perfect ending to our vacation and a delightful respite prior to our return home. It will be our top pick for future trips to Manchester!
Our ensuite room was spotless, welcoming and warm. It was beautifully furnished, light and spacious, with a very comfortable bed and crisp, clean linen.
Afternoon tea was lovely and so very welcome after what had been a somewhat difficult journey, as was self-service wine before dinner ñ and the broad collection of music added to the lovely relaxing atmosphere.
We also very much enjoyed the dinner and full-English breakfast, and finally the airport transfer made travel so comfortable and convenient, all adding to an exceedingly pampering experience.
We'll be writing a recommendation to submit to our local newspapers, and when the Holistic and Cookery courses are up and running, please let us know.
We enjoyed meeting both you and James. Do stay in touch, and we look forward to seeing you again soon.

Best wishes for every success,
Marcia and Jim Gibney

Dear Katie
- what a pleasure it was to visit your lovely new rural retreat. As you know, I am very familiar with that part of England, but was still surprised to come across such a delightful establishment tucked away in the Cheshire countryside, yet literally a few minutes from the M6 and the M56 motorways and less than five miles from Manchester airport. You'd think that was an impossible juxtaposition, wouldn't you?
Add in the village itself with its ancient church; the bird sanctuary at Rostherne Mere; Tatton Park just down the road and beyond that the attractions of historic Knutsford and I would say you have just about the perfect combination. (And I nearly forgot to mention how really easy it is to nip into Central Manchester which has been so spectacularly revitalised and redeveloped in the last few years...!).
The house itself has a warm, welcoming atmosphere, enhanced by the real fires. The rooms are spacious, comfortable and well-furnished and the new bathrooms add an elegant modern dimension. One thing I particularly enjoyed was strolling round the large garden and watching all the varieties of bird going about their business - I counted more than a dozen different types - and then having the freedom to walk through the back gate on to the vast cricket field overlooking the mere. Magic!
The welcome, the home cooking and the efficient and unobtrusive service could not be faulted and all-in-all I believe your packages represent excellent value for money. I wish you all the success you deserve with this latest venture

Sincerely,
F Casey

Dear Katie,
Just a short note to say how pleased I was with the facilities offered at Rostherne House. With the house a short hop from the nearest motorway junction, and only a short distance from central Manchester, it turned out to be the ideal ìmutually convenientî venue to meet with my clients.
Having a meeting in a such a peaceful and tranquil setting made a welcome change to the usual impersonal environment and services provided elsewhere, and I am sure these latter points also contributed enormously to a very productive meeting. We will certainly see you again!
